Alice wrote this poem with a group on Facebook created by Laura Shovan — 10foundwords Challenge (read about the challenge).
Go to Alice’s original blog post to read about her thinking as she composed “Transformed Discovery.”
Transformed Discovery
The pen of a poet
is chanting a tale
of bright stars glowing
above the lost land
complete
with belching geysers,
gurgling mud pots
and simmering pools—
transformed discovery
on a magical summer night

Here’s a poem that is pure nonsense using the blog names of 112 fellow bloggers
who Alice wrote with for thirty-one days during the 2017 March Slice of Life Challenge.
Alice says she had a lot fun writing about “the gossip of #SOL17.”
Did You Hear?
Did you hear the latest
about A Day in the Life
of March slicers?
They say that Writing 328
is where some
Read Reflect Teach
while others
Read Write Share
and a few even
Read and Write with Sally.
Isn’t it amazing how they all
Enjoy and Embrace Writing?
