Strand 1 — The student is expected “to develop handwriting by forming all cursive letters using appropriate strokes when connecting letters” [110.4(2)(E)]; “to write complete words, thoughts, and answers legible in cursive leaving appropriate spaces between words” [110.5(2)(D)]; “to write legibly in cursive to complete assignments” [110.6(2)(C); 110.7(2)(C)].
Strand 6 — “The student uses the writing process recursively to compose multiple texts that are legible and uses appropriate conventions.”
