Strand 6 — The student uses acquired knowledge to support appropriate use of conventions to analyze and edit text. The student learns tips and tricks of editors to proofread and determine correct use of conventions. The student uses proofreader symbols.
Strand 1 — The student demonstrates and applies spelling knowledge.
Strand 5 – The student uses critical inquiry to notice and analyze the authors’ choices and how they influence and communicate meaning and flow of text.
