SOL26-0224

I’ve been thumbing the pages of my journals, reading slices about my grandkids–well, maybe more like “bites.” Here’s one that still makes me laugh and still makes me wonder how Mommy taught this lesson so well.
BN (3 yrs old) is tagging after Daddy who is trying to keep chores done while Mommy is in the hospital with the birth of little brother EN.
As Daddy enters the laundry room with an armful of wash, BN puts his hands on his hips and says, “No. No. No, Daddy!”
BN points to the washer, “No.”
He points to the dryer, “No!”
He points to the baskets of laundry, “No!”
He spreads his little hands in an all-inclusive gesture and emphatically says, “It’s Mommy’s! It’s ALL Mommy’s!”
